Over the years, I have shifted houses many times; belong to the category of movers and shakers Jperhaps I am now the go-to expert for tips on packing, unpacking, settling and unsettling. Probably I like the unsettling or newness that this discomfort brings.
What I like about this shift really is the energy that the newness brings and it actually does because this is the time when I discard the things that I actually collected over the years and never used them.. right from the kitchen pans, to old mixer jars which I thought I would use some day to old medicines, pens and markers that don’t work, old furniture, jewelry, unused show pieces and other junk piled up that I didn’t even know existed J
Throwing off the junk created openness and space for new and positive energy to flow. Now that I don’t plan to shift, I have decided to carry forward the goodness of the shifting exercise and do a periodic decluttering. There are many types of decluttering – physical, mental, digital. I will speak of the latter two some other time. Lets start with the physical.

Take some time this week to clean up. Take a box and fill it with things that you no longer need. Get those piles organized, make room for abundance!
TIP: If you haven’t used a thing in a year, its time to toss it off or donate or sell!
