Folks, This is the week of trying something new; week of novelty
Today I tried a different type of meditation – guided meditation by Tara Brach for quieting the mind
Meditation started off with the sound of the waves; the rain outside perfectly complimented it. My mind wandered at the beginning, then it took me to a quiet beach. I could hear the waves slowing hitting the rocks and the soft sand brushing my feet. I loved the smell of the ocean and thoroughly enjoyed the rain that slowly drenched me. I could then relax completing into my body and feel the inflow and outflow of my breath, of only my breath. Slowing got into silence; further sank in the silence and then I could no longer hear the sound of the beach. Stayed in silence for 10 min and then back to beach and back home J Powerful.. this 10 minute exercise helped me unclutter and calm my mind
Surrendering to Silence gives all the answers that sometimes powerful search engines don’t
So has anyone tried anything new or willing to try?
