I have been invited tonight to speak at a local community event to honor a leader; a leader who has lead the masses, a leader who has driven change, a leader who has made a significant impact at the grassroots, for the grassroots
Now, Don’t we remember leaders who have made a difference they have made in our lives?
Speaking of leadership, I resonate very strongly with a thought leader – Robin Sharma
Leadership has very little to do with the title on your business card or the size of your office. Leadership is not about how much money you make or the clothes you wear. Leadership is a philosophy. It’s an attitude. It’s a way of life, it’s a state of mind. I believe it’s available to each one of us.
We all are leaders .. the way we lead our own lives, the way we lead our families, the way we lead our teams at work, the way we deal with people around us.
And The first person we need to lead is always ourselves.
To Be a Great Leader, First Become a Great Person says Robin Sharma
Organizations or people move from being ordinary to extraordinary when they have excited, engaged and enthusiastic people with them. True leaders understand this
When you are willing to be of true service to the people, when you empower them, when you engage them, you have true power- the power of people
Business books coin this type of leadership as servant leadership.
With servant leadership you can move from being ordinary to extraordinary; that’s how you can lead and run successful businesses or have successful careers
I leave you all with these 2 questions..
Until Next,
Keep Smiling..
