Who is your valentine ?

Being a valentine month, Why not set the intentions for valentine now !!

What comes to your mind when you think of Valentine?  Gifts, Red Roses, Chocolates, Flowers, Heart shaped balloons, Cakes, Red and Pink décor, Candle light dinners..

Now, WHO comes to your mind when you think of your valentine… Be honest JYour Partner, Spouse, Children, Parents, Friends, Siblings, Family ..

Who else?? Who else can you love completely and truthfully?

Let me ask one simple question.. In the flights, What do they advise us to do first in case of emergency? Where are the oxygen masks put first? Isn’t that you? Why? Simply because of the fact that unless we take care of ourselves, we cannot help others.

Sometimes we are so much into serving others that we forget ourselves. According to Patti Clark, an accomplished leader and author of ‘This Way Up’, many women go through an EMPTY NEST syndrome, loose direction and their sense of purpose is lost when their nurturing is no longer required. Learning to value ourselves, loving and finding oneself is one simple strategy to avoid the vacuum.

Don’t you show up 100% when you are rested, prayed, had your fun time, had your “me” time and taken good care of your mind, body and soul? Aren’t you more connected?

I am more present and at my best when I take care of myself. My love and respect for myself and what I care for has enabled me to love and respect another being for what they are .. even more.

We cannot be of service if we are not our largest self. So this valentine, hold a mirror in front and Be your valentine. Love yourself for who you are and what you stand for. Say YES to yourself.

Find your voice.. TRUST yourself, KNOW yourself and LOVE yourself. Start right now..
